
About Art Thomas
Art Thomas is an accomplished musician who has been leading musical programs in large groups for more than 7 years. He earned an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Development and Education from Schoolcraft College and has been working with children of all ages for more than 8 years. Art is cleared by the FIA as a trusted child care professional.
Art has also been a motivational speaker and highly-requested seminar guest ever since overcoming ADHD at the age of 16. He went on to tutor struggling elementary school students for four years at Northville Christian School while he studied special education and child development.
Art has served as Dean of Men at Royal Family Kids' Camp (a non-profit summer camp program for children who have been abused and neglected). There he was involved in training more than 50 staff members to work with children from the most difficult of backgrounds. He was also on the national curriculum committee for the Royal Rangers (a worldwide organization for boys, much like the Scouts).
